Welcome to Art September 2020

Art instruction will be remote for the first trimester. I will post the material covered in Google Classroom on the day of instruction. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.   sryan@stbartholomewca.org

Artsonia is our wonderful online art gallery. If you have not joined Artsonia, please do so now. As you remember in the spring you uploaded work there.  I have now integrated Artsonia with Google Classroom. Let’s try this, also. Click on the Artsonia link in the Classroom Assignment page. It SHOULD take your child’s work to the correct project in Artsonia. If not…..try the method below!

If you need to join…

PARENTS – Our school is offering a way for students to submit their artwork to their Artsonia portfolio from home.Artsonia Class Portal

Your child can use iPads or similar devices (or even a browser) to photograph their own artwork, make edits and enter artist statements – all on their own! The artwork will be reviewed by the art teacher prior to being published.Download the Artsonia 6.0 app in the Apple or Android app store, select the “Students” option, then scan the Access Code below (or manually type in the code). You can also go to www.artsonia.com/class on a browser if you don’t have a compatible device.

March 17 Grade 3 Art Fun!

Due: April 20

25 day Art Challenge…. let the art fun begin! My wonderful third graders, I would like you to start on this today (after your regular academics are complete for the day OR if you have been assigned art time in a schedule for the day). Work at your own pace. Collect each sketch. You may put several on each page but label them accordingly) Don’t forget to put your name on each page. Keep them in a folder for me. We may come up with a way for you to photograph each one and send them to me.
