Yesterday we had Currents News visiting us and interviewed our pastor Fr. Rick Beuther, Principal Mrs. Gonzalez and two of our students who benefit from scholarships.

This is a very exciting time for us as we open the doors to our fourth year as an Academy and welcome our students on September 4, 2019 to a wonderful year of learning that has been especially planned for them.
Due to weather conditions, St. Bartholomew Catholic Academy will be closed tomorrow, Monday March 4th. Be safe and God Bless!
The SBCA Sharp Blades “made the cut” at the Aviation High School’s First Lego League Qualifier, and the team was awarded the 1st place Core Values award!
As our academic year gets closer to the end, the 8th grader’s hearts are filled with joy for graduation and the student’s minds are on vacation. It has been a wonderful year! I want to say what an honor it ‘s been working with the students, parents, and staff to make the year a special and successful one. Together we have shared many new experiences that will remain with us in the years to come. I want to thank you for your patience and understanding and look forward to a continued partnership and success.
I want to wish you all the very best for the summer vacation and look forward to welcoming you back, refreshed, for a new academic year.
As we begin the Month of June, let us pay close attention to important events taking place. The 4th and 8th grade will be taking their final State exam on June 4th. The 8th grade graduating class will enjoy a day of fun and games at Dave & Busters for their senior trip on June 5th.
Dress Down and Pizza day will be on June 6th. Our annual walk-a-thon will take place on June 7th. Just a reminder, this is the second mandatory fundraiser for parents. This will be an all day event of fun activities and walking for our school. Parents are welcomed to come join us and help supervise the students.
The 8th grade Family Dinner will be on June 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This evening will be a time to honor the student’s accomplishments and celebrate the families of the graduating class for their dedication and committment to their child’s education.
The last day for after school will be June 13. The final Dress Down will be June 14.
The Kindergarten graduation ceremony will be on Friday June 15th at 9:00 a.m. in the gym. Students should be in school at 8:30 a.m.
The 8th grade graduation ceremony will be on Friday June 15th at 1:00 p.m. in the gym. Students must be in school at 12:00 p.m.
June 18th and 19th will be the last full days of school. June 20-June 22 will be half days, students must be picked up at 12:00 p.m.
The last day of school for students is June 22, dismissal will be at 12:00 p.m.
The final trimester award ceremony will be Friday June 22 at 8:30 a.m. in the gym.
Let us keep in mind, we have vacation from school, but never from God, remember to attend mass with you family over the summer months.
