Due: April 20
25 day Art Challenge…. let the art fun begin! My wonderful third graders, I would like you to start on this today (after your regular academics are complete for the day OR if you have been assigned art time in a schedule for the day). Work at your own pace. Collect each sketch. You may put several on each page but label them accordingly) Don’t forget to put your name on each page. Keep them in a folder for me. We may come up with a way for you to photograph each one and send them to me.
Art is wonderful, exciting, and relaxing. Let’s put creating as part of our new daily life at home. I sure will be!
My artists…. I have attached a packet below of some art assignments. I am asking you to work on an activity daily. You should be able to complete all of them by April 20. For now, create a folder of your work. However, I may be asking you to photograph them and send them into me.
I will be adding some specific additional assignments in the near future.
I hope and pray that our students and families stay safe during this trying time. I will be publishing some fun and challenging art assignments here throughout the next several weeks.
Many students have still not handed in their project. It is now overdue. Please bring it in this week!
Due: 11/12 or earlier
Complete your Haunted House. Use the Elements of Art that artist Hundertwasser used. Remember to color sections of your work with white colored
pencils or crayon first. Then add color on top.

Due: October 8
I would like to wish all my art students a happy, fun filled summer! Don’t forget, creating doesn’t just happen in art class. Sketch , paint, and create in your own home, on vacation, and best of all, outdoors. One of my favorite summer activities is to sketch and paint outdoors. Find a soft patch of grass and a shady tree (or a beach umbrella) and draw. I look forward to seeing your creations in September! Be safe!
